Ahhh…Learn TTouch at the Marin Humane Society

A therapeutic approach to pet health and behavior

(NOVATO, CALIF., April 28, 2008)The Tellington TTouch utilizes a variety of techniques of touch and movement to affect behavior and health in companion animals. Certified TTouch Practitioner Jaynellen Kovacevich will present a TTouch workshop series on Saturday, May 10 and May 17 from 10am – Noon at the Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato).

The TTouch Method was originally created by Linda Tellington-Jones to help injured racehorses heal more rapidly and completely. It has since developed into a revolutionary system of animal training, healing and communication that allows people to relate to animals in a deeper, more compassionate way. According to MHS Education Coordinator Gail Ellis, TTouch has been used successfully in cases of excessive barking and chewing, anxiety, car sickness and problems associated with aging. “TTouch is an important addition to the increasingly respected world of alternative healing practices for pets,” says Ellis.

Jaynellen Kovacevich was personally trained by Tellington-Jones and uses TTouch regularly at the Oakland Zoo to help reduce physical and mental stress in the zoo animals.

The cost for two sessions is $45. To register, please call (415) 506-6288.
