Belk & Malibu
5-year-old
Spayed Female

Belk and her son Malibu are mourning the loss of their long-time San Francisco guardian, who passed away recently. So they aren't sure which way is up but are hoping that the future will be rosier. Malibu has had a tough history of abuse - that's why his eye is clouded. In fact, his story has attracted the attention of Oprah magazine (click here for the article). Dubbed an "amazing cat," he is living to tell his tale. Belk is the wind beneath his wings, supporting her son and trying to keep her cool. These two are both affectionate and sweet.

ADOPTED!

Sienna
8-year-old
Neutered Male

Sienna doesn't at all act his age. Full of vim, vigor and lots of curiosity, this gentle senior needs to find a new home because his guardian family now has a new tiny mouth to feed. Also, Sienna has a penchant for exploring cribs and bassinets. He bad! But what a sweetie he is! He did live with another cat with no fur flying and he's very playful and independent. He'll let you know if he's had enough of you and your sneaky ways with pills and things that sting - ie. veterinary care. He's definitely an entertaining character.

Molly
1-year-old
Spayed Female

Good Golly! Miss Molly would much rather be in a loving home. With all the barking and meowing going on here, Molly swears she has only had 14 hours of sleep, instead of the usual 16. You wouldn't know this looker has been lacking beauty sleep though. Once home, please give Molly lots of latitude to explore, and a quiet, out-of-the-way place to eat and use her box. Since Molly has lots and lots of energy, we suggest a tall scratching post which gives her ample opportunity to climb. Then watch Molly's sterling personality shine through!

Bobbette
3-year-old
Spayed Female

How do you spell cat? Bobette is the definition of "cat": soft, cuddly, peaceful, and curious. When Bobette looks at you, you know you're in the presence of the divine, the Egyptian goddess Bastet come to life to sleep on your bed. Bobette may even deign to show you her nutty side: the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, or clap her paws trying to catch a hapless moth. Dogs have owners, but cats have stuff. You're the stuff of which Bobette's dreams are made.  This lovely hunk of cat somehow became a stray, and is looking for someone to love her forever.  She will love you right back, and then some!

Ideal Home: Best in almost any household

Serapis
15-month-old
Spayed Female

Some cats are the life of the party, and some are, well, like Serapis. Not that she doesn't like having a good time; she is just a little mousy at the moment, and will take her time to get to know you. She just loves to be brushed!  A little bit of brushing and she is just putty in your hands.  Which is a good thing because her lovely tresses will take some daily taming.  Give her some time and space to roam around her new digs.

Serapis has lived with other cats in the past, so she is a likely candidate for a multi-pet household.  She is also a big fan of the scratching post, she make sure she has one.  She has liked cardboard and carpet scratching posts.

Crayola
4-year-old
Neutered Male

Seems our charming Crayola was a little bit of a bully at the feeding trough in his last home, even though he was a nice guy the rest of the time. So maybe you want to feed him in a different place from the rest of the cats. Or maybe he should be the only cat in your household. According to Crayola's former guardian he uses a scratching post and loves to be groomed. So the guy likes to eat at the expense of his cat pals. None of us is purrfect. But Crayola comes darn close!

Rainbow
11-year-old
Spayed Female

Rainbow is friendly, affectionate, and very easy to handle. This peaceful cat doesn’t demand attention, but she adores being petted and brushed, and she'll lean on you and purr to show her gratitude. Rainbow is looking for a calm atmosphere to settle into. She would love to find another easy-going adult to curl up with, who will pet her, talk to her, love her, and live in this purrfect moment. If that doesn’t sound like the meaning of life, Rainbow doesn’t know what is.

Oreo
8-year-old

Oreo and her brother Domino are both just as sweet as they can be. They purr non-stop, love to be petted and brushed and will nudge you endlessly for petting. All you have to do is love them and they will be perfectly content just to be with you. This lovely pair seems shy enough to be happy as the only pets in your house, but easy-going enough for grade school age members of your household. Take a minute and meet these two. Beanie
5-year-old
Spayed Female

Beanie is a confident tuxedo cat with striking markings. Beanie really loves attention – as much as she can get. Her former guardian says she loves lying in laps and considers herself quite the hunter. Chatty and friendly, she does tend to get overstimulated and nip, so a family with older children would be better for all involved. And, Beanie's no pushover. Smart and a quick learner, she'll defend herself when provoked by other felines, so it would be best if she were the queen of the roost.

Bo
9-month-old
Neutered Male

If you give him plenty of toys, good food and water, a cozy bed, and lots of attention, you'll have a happy, loving adolescent who brings you years of fun and games. Bo is an active, confident cat who will be happiest in a home with someone who is cat-savvy, and without very small children.

Heather
1-year-old
Spayed Female

Heather is a delightful young cat who was recently a mom (kids these days - sheesh). Now she's starting to enjoy life without responsibility and seems to be pretty much over her hormone craziness. She's shy in new situations, but figures things out quickly. To date she's been in two foster homes, having made herself a welcome guest in both places. In her second foster home she spent the better part of her first day under a bed. Soon, hunger and the call of nature won out and she emerged with a healthy appetite, a tidy approach to her litter box, and a love of catnip, scratching posts and sitting in windowsills. Heather is curious without being destructive and cautious without being too standoffish. She's got a dynamite purr that she's not afraid to use.

Ideal Home: Best in home with grade school age children or older

Tigress
4-year-old
Spayed Female

This loving cat is easy to handle, and enjoys being groomed. She’s a little skittish, so she'll need a patient, cat-savvy guardian who can give her a comfortable and peaceful home environment to help her reveal her true feline colors. Plenty of quiet, quality time is the secret to finding this kitty's heart. We suggest a home with adults only; the activity of young children may make her uneasy. Be patient, accepting and loving and you'll soon discover that Tigress will impress you with her sweet and affectionate charm.

Ideal Home: Best in adult only home

Bianca
1-year-old
Spayed Female

Bianca is a beautiful white cat with exquisite amber eyes. She’s friendly, kind and playful, once she gets comfortable in her new surroundings. Bianca was found on the streets in Novato, a little scared and unsure of her surroundings. Now she’s looking for a family who will be patient and understanding. If you give her some time to explore the house and get to know everyone, this affectionate cat will soon be delighted to let you pet her and brush her, and she’ll become a member of your family.
