Arrow-Apache
3-year-old
Neutered Male, 74lbs
German Shepherd Mix
Arrow-Apache is a very intelligent and sweet boy, and is likely to bond strongly with his new family. He looks and acts like a cross between a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois. With strong guidance, Arrow will be a calm, reliable, and loyal best friend. He will love you forever if you give him all the exercise he needs to burn off steam and stay in shape. Although his future home shouldn’t have cats and he won’t be a big fan of dog parks, he likes other large dogs and may happily enjoy the companionship of another dog at home.
Ideal Home: Best in home with children 12 years or older

Balto
4-year-old
Neutered Male, 69lbs
Rottweiler/Malamute Mix
Balto is a charming, sweet dog who loves people and enjoys showing his affectionate side. He also enjoys fetching a large bumper, the kind used for training hunting dogs. Because Balto is so people focused he will bond quickly with his new adopter and will not want to spend a lot of time apart. If you work long hours he isn't the right companion for you, but if you work from home or have someone home much of the time, he may be your perfect pet.
Balto has a lot going for him, he has a disposition that just says "please love me"; but he will require an experienced adopter and the right home situation. If you are an experienced adopter and have the time, particularly at the beginning, to devote to him, take him out and get to know him, he's sure to charm you!
Ideal Home: Best in dog experienced home with children 16 years or older

Mariah
4-year-old
Spayed Female, 55lbs
Labrador Retriever
Mariah is a special dog! She needs a very patient, loving human who’s willing to work with her. She LOVES other dogs, she's friendly to cats, but hasn’t had much experience with people. Because she learns well from other dogs, she needs a friendly dog to help her to adapt to her new home and continue to learn to feel comfortable with people. Mariah isn’t aggressive, but she’s nervous until she gets to know you, and she’s sensitive to sudden sounds and movements. She is house broken, crate trained, and great at walking on a leash.
Ideal Home: Best in adult only home

Neutered Male
Jack Russell Terrier Mix
Jinx is a bright, happy and friendly guy who knows “sit” on verbal cue, especially for a cookie. Being mostly Jack Russell, he is a very active dog, ready to go all day. Aerobic exercise will help you keep him fit and more settled. This terrific dog would really enjoy training classes such as Small Dog or Family Dog. He would excel in tricks! Jinx will enjoy life to the fullest and contribute to the entertainment of any family he joins.

Rex
2-year-old
Neutered Male, 8lbs
Chihuahua Mix
Rex is one cool dog! He has a really sweet disposition and will be delighted to relax in your lap, but he can worry about new people. This little man will blossom in a calm home with consistent rules. Although no one has taken much time to train him yet, mental stimulation is important for him, and he will definitely respond well to training with treat rewards. This handsome fellow will love for you to give him regular exercise. Whoever takes Rex home will be very lucky indeed!

Roxanne
7-year-old
Spayed Female, 14lbs
Terrier Mix
Little Roxanne came in as part of our Pet Partnership Program. She's a complex little thing, and best suited for experienced owners. She likes people, once she gets to know them, and can be fun to play with. When going for a walk, she acts as if she owns the world, but she's not keen on other dogs - she doesn't really want to meet them, and in fact snapped at a dog during our testing. However, she can pass them with no problems. Roxanne had some problems with high value items (pig's ear), so she probably shouldn't be given anything to chew on that she adores, unless she can eat it all up! This behavior, along with others, can be modified with training.

Neto
2-year-old
Neutered Male, 11lbs
Mini Pinscher Mix
Neto is a really fun guy: he's smart, trainable, adorable, fun and energetic. Watching him play with toys can lower your blood pressure very quickly. He would love to live in a home where he can simply appreciate the fun side of life. Neto will do best in a home where he wont be around children, because of his possessive nature. However, with an experienced family, he'll become a perfect best friend.

Sue
8-month-old
Spayed Female, 33lbs
Australian Cattledog Mix
This cute little number is smart, lively and loves to learn. Sue will bond strongly to a new guardian and will probably be really enthusiastic about obedience training. She isn’t very comfortable being handled by people, however, and tends to play a little rough. Sue’s new family should understand Cattledogs, and if they provide her with the structure, exercise and training that she needs, she will become a lifelong friend.

Princess
1-year-old
Spayed Female, 12lbs
Italian Greyhound Mix
This little Princess is very social and she’ll wiggle her way into your affections with lots of kisses. She is a very active, confident and outgoing little dog and likes attention and handling. She would love to follow you to the ends of the earth. Because Princess is people-oriented and doesn't really like being apart from them, she will be happiest living where someone’s home most of the time. This incredibly, cute, happy little dog will make an outstanding pet for the right adopter.
